4. Agreeing and Disagreeing (Expressing Opinions)

  • I couldn't agree more.  Express strong agreement with someone's statement.

  • That's a valid concern.  Acknowledge legitimate worries or issues.

  • We need to consider other viewpoints.  Encourage a balanced discussion.

  • I respectfully disagree.  Express disagreement while being polite.


5. Negotiating and Compromising (Finding Middle Ground)

  • Let's find a solution that works for everyone.  Emphasize the importance of compromise.

  • Can we meet in the middle on this issue?  Suggest a balanced solution.

  • We'll need to make concessions to move forward.  Highlight the need for compromise.
